As we said in our most recent IG post we are doing everything recommended by the CDC to ensure we are taking the proper safety precautions necessary for our staff while packing and shipping your orders. This includes lots of hand washing, extra hand sanitizer and social distancing meaning we are hanging out at home!!! We feel it's important to share info as to what we are doing to ensure safety but also what part we all play in BEATING this virus and getting things back to "normal".
Just like you we see people buying up tons of items from stores that may or may not be essential during this time. We aren't here to judge (although buying more toilet paper than you can use in a year is beyond us) we want to help fight the panic so we can all get through this together. I like many of you am not a doctor and don't have a degree in infectious diseases but I do read a lot. My take is that all the News Outlets are more worried about pointing fingers and providing info that creates panic with the facts hidden between the lines vs. just the facts. They are absolutely entitled to report opinionated facts and it's our job to do our best to decipher fact from finger pointing opinions. At the end of the day all we can do is what we feel is the right thing for us, our family, and friends.
As I've said in my other blogs we are all Kapable of amazing things. We have always been Kapable of overcoming adversity BIG or small and we will do it again now vs. covid-19. It's not in our nature to loose and we aren't going to start now! The best advice I can give anyone who reads this is to follow the CDC recommendations at (www.cdc.gov/coronavirus.com) and click on "How to protect yourself". Be safe, be calm and do the right thing's and we will get through this sooner than later!
Remember, a small sacrifice now will help save lives and help shorten this disruption!
The #IAMKAPABLE movement was started with a simple goal in mind, create a "Sounding Board" where people can share their personal stories, find inspiration from other's all while creating a community that lifts people up.
